Exosomes for Skin Repair

Exosomes are a new frontier in regenerative medicine that improve cellular function and reduce age related cellular decline.

What are Exosomes ? Exosomes are essentially a group of biologically active compounds ( proteins, lipids and nucleic acids), contained in a small “vesicle” or molecular bag. These compounds work to improve cellular function, reduce inflammation and optimise repair- think of this like a little makeup kit inside your skin, with the contents designed to repair skin and keep it strong, firm and glowing. The unique vesicle structure of exosomes allows for efficient and targeted delivery of, making them highly effective for intracellular delivery.

While all of our natural cells have exosomes, this is the first time clinicians have been able to use them as a clinical tool to boost your own natural skin function (although note that Platelet Rich Plasma contains a very high content of exosomes and other factors, but that's another story!).

Why E- 50 Exosomes E-50 exosomes are derived from salmon testis cells, which have been found to be highly compatible to human cells. More importantly, E50 exosomes have been formulated to specifically target individual cell types, leading to more efficient cellular effects and great efficacy.

How Are Exosomes Delivered?
Exosomes are needled into the skin using a Skin Pen Device, or applied to skin as an additional treatment after ablative Ultraclear laser session. Exosomes not only enhance cellular repair, but reduce the downtime of procedures.

Recommended Plan
3 Initial Treatments every 2 weeks, followed by maintenance treatments as required.

Planning
Start 6 months before a big event.

Downtime / Aftercare Your skin will be red, dry, tight and feel sunburnt for a few days. You may experience mild swelling, especially around the eye area. Use a simple moisturiser and SPF avoid any active ingredients such as Vitamin A or exfoliants until the skin has settled.
