Important note: Our clinic offers a range of aesthetic treatments as part of our approach to wellness, but if you are looking for a narrower focus on injectables you may be better served by other clinics that do not aim to address the bigger picture of your health and metabolism. .

Initial Cosmetic Medical Consultation

Thrive Clinic prioritises skin and metabolic health first and foremost- encouraging our patients to develop a consistent lifestyle and medical grade home care routine and to begin the skin journey with dermal therapy and medical treatments that correct specific concerns and support long term healthy skin and collagen production. This skin first approach means that our patients maintain their own unique look.

Consultation, clinical photography, formal consent and quotation are performed prior to all treatments. All patients will be booked with a Cosmetic Physician AND a University Trained Dermal Clinician as part of the Initial Consultation- our dermal therapists will focus on skin and home care education, laser test patching and perform an Introductory treatment to get to you know your skin.

Please note that some treatments require skin preparation, and that not all treatments are suitable for all patients- everyone is unique and we’ll take the time to customise a treatment that suits your goals and skin type.

Cosmetic Medical Consultations are with post graduate qualified Cosmetic Physicians, and involve a 45 minute appointment, thorough holistic assessment and the highest level of expertise.

Expect a consultation including assessment of your lifestyle, complexion, facial anatomy and metabolic & hormonal health. Our doctors will then formulate a plan comprising a range of evidence based management options including diet, exercise, supplements, medical grade home care, laser and injectable treatments to optimise your skin concerns and general health. We will also advise you on how biostimulation using lasers and regenerative injectable treatments can improve skin quality, mapping your treatments over the next 12 months.

Dr Grant has a special interest in integrating cosmetic injectable treatments, lasers, regenerative and biostimulatory treatments with metabolic and hormonal assessment to improve skin health and ageing. Dr Grant’s passion in medicine is managing perimenopause- a time when many women start to notice changes in their skin and hormones. This generally starts in the late 30s and 40s, and represents a unique period during which early interventions can prevent long term skin and chronic health challenges.

Dr Bhatti has an interest in Cosmetic Dermatology and offers a range of procedural treatments such as subscision for acne scarring, removal of cosmetic moles and injectable treatments.

The cost of an Initial Aesthetic Medicine Consultation and Treatment with a Cosmetic Doctor is $200 (Dr Sara Bhatti) and $250 Dr Jemima Grant (Medical Director), which is non- refundable, and includes:

• Clinical Photography

• Consultation- 45 minutes

• a written treatment plan for you to take home

• an Introductory Hydrating Peel & Healite with a Dermal Clinician treatment to nurture your skin (valued at $199). If possible, this will be performed on the day prior to seeing a Clinician, or within 2 weeks of your initial consult.

• 2 luxe samples of our favourite Synergie Skin products (valued at over $100).

• The cost of the consultation does not include a treatment- if you would like a treatment, book the option for a Consultation AND treatment and let us know what you are expecting in the appointment notes. We’ll also call you after your book in , to check in and confirm your expectations and answer any questions you might have.

  Note: Aesthetic treatments are charged separately. Medicare rebates are not available for aesthetic or cosmetic concerns. If Dr Grant addresses a medical issue, this will be billed separately to your Aesthetic Consultation, and a medicare rebate may be applied to this fee. There are no medicare rebates to see Dr Bhatti.
